Spanish Teacher

Looking for Expression of Interest – Spanish Classes

Dear families,

I am a qualified and experienced native Spanish teacher (Celta equivalent) with experience in all levels (UTS, UNSW, TAFE, Primary Schools…), looking for Expression of Interest from the families to learn Spanish.

We will need at least 4 families from the same school interested so I could request a room to the school, as the Department of Education normally allows requesting one free room for community languages. Or you could join one of the already organized classes at another school.

Currently I have a group you could join at St Brigid’s Gwynneville on Tuesdays but if you have a group interested in another school, we could open another group.

The idea will be (for example) a group of beginners for Kinder, Year 1, 2 and 3 on a week day (example Monday or Wednesday) from 3:10pm till 4:10pm and a group of beginners for Year 4, 5 and 6 from 4:20pm till 5:20pm.

Classes are during school terms and I could pick up the child from their school (if the child studies at the same centre that the allocated room, that way parents avoid paying care). I own a WWCC.

Terms are usually 10 weeks and cost $15 per student, per hour (total $150 per whole term).

Bump, Birth and Baby 2018

Bump, Birth and Baby is back for 2018! This event is all about empowering mums and women, while raising funds for two fabulous organisations – Still Aware and Love Mercy Foundation. We’ll hear about these two incredible organisations and how they are empowering women and changing communities. We’ll be sharing brunch & coffee together while hearing from a panel of fabulous speakers. This year we have a focus on health & wellbeing, particularly mental health and how we can survive and thrive through the challenges life and motherhood bring. Our panel includes Wendy, a survivor of postnatal depression, Gabrielle a survivor of postnatal psychosis and Briony, a local postpartum Doula. There will be incredible stories and also tips on how to support ourselves, friends, family and community. If you can’t make it to the event but would still like to donate to the charities, please click here and choose a donation amount.
